I can't wait to share the rest of Matt & Jen's wedding from last Sunday with you, but for now here is a image that was just begging for some words! :)

The summer sun was filling my aunt's back yard with a golden glow when my cousin Dave and his bride Remy became husband and wife. The evening was a sweet time with a few friends and relatives as we all celebrated their love and commitment for each other!

Arriving home after midnight last night, we were tired beyond reason (it’s a good thing I wasn’t the one driving home from the airport!), but happy and refreshed mentally from a whirlwind weekend in Texas. My cousin Trevor got "hitched" in a sweet country wedding to his best friend, Della.


Between Trevor’s Uncle Dan from Seattle, and I, we endeavored to memorialize their special day for them with photography. I still haven’t had time to wade through all the images, but here are a few glimpses…

When the sky was blue and the air was warm...

I was wading through some images from last summer and realized that I never posted photos from the wedding of one of my best friends, Liz...

Elizabeth & Andrew had one of the most beautiful weddings I've ever witnessed. Elizabeth's creativity and sense of style was so evident in every little detail. She and Andrew are so great together, it was a very special day for me to share!

Liz and I first met on her 15th birthday... and have shared many memories since that day. I am so grateful to have a few girlies that have stayed best of friends through the years. We may not get together as often as in the old days, but when we do it is like old times in an instant! Of my four best buds (other than my sis), Liz was the last one to say I Do... so it was really special for me to share her joy that day. Love you, JoeyGirl! :)
